A lifelong traveler and observer, he discovered his passion for photography during extensive international work trips, often to non-English-speaking countries. Long before translation tools were available, he found a universal connection through art—visiting local museums and galleries sparked a deep appreciation for light, composition, and subject. In the early 2000s, a spontaneous purchase of a Nikon N65 film camera in Sydney marked the beginning of his photographic journey. Since then, he has focused on capturing the “found image”—fleeting moments of color, geometry, and human nuance often missed in the everyday. Deeply inspired by masters like Eggleston, Cartier-Bresson, Leiter, and Gruyaert, as well as Avedon, Levitt, and Miller, he continuously draws from their works to refresh his creative vision. His photographs have been featured in numerous exhibitions, including two solo shows at LightBox Photographic Gallery, with the most recent running through August 2, 2025.
